What is Dasha overlap in compatibility?

Dasha overlap shows whether two people are currently in compatible planetary life phases. Even a high Ashtakoot score can create friction if one person is in a contraction Dasha and the other is in an expansion phase. Fliyp calculates this layer as part of its compatibility reading.
