What Is the Fliyp Score? The Personal Astrology Score Explained

The Fliyp Score is a daily number from 0–100 that tells you how aligned today's planetary conditions are with your specific Vedic birth chart. It is not a generic horoscope — it is a personalised daily measurement computed from six signal dimensions.

What Is the Fliyp Score?

The Fliyp Score is a daily number from 0 to 100 that measures how aligned today's planetary conditions are with your personal Vedic birth chart. It is computed fresh every morning from six signal dimensions — Career, Decision, Relationship, Emotional, Energy, and Spiritual — each calculated against your specific ascendant, natal planet placements, current Mahadasha period, and birth nakshatra.

It is not a horoscope. It is not a star rating. It is a personalised measurement.

A score of 82 means: the planetary conditions active today are strongly supportive of your chart's key indicators. Act, decide, reach out, move.

A score of 34 means: today's transits are creating friction in sensitive areas of your chart. The friction is not dangerous — but forcing major decisions through it costs more than waiting.

A score of 58 means: mixed conditions. Some areas are open, others are constrained. The six-dimension breakdown shows you exactly which is which.

Why Does a Personalised Score Matter?

Every daily horoscope column you have ever read was written for approximately 600 million people simultaneously — everyone born under your sun sign. It cannot be accurate for you specifically because it does not know your ascendant, your current dasha period, your natal planet positions, or your birth nakshatra.

Vedic astrology has always been capable of personal-level precision. The Fliyp Score is how that precision reaches you as a usable daily number.

Two people born under the same sun sign, sitting next to each other, can have completely different Fliyp Scores on the same day — because their ascendants are different, their dasha periods are different, and the transits affecting their respective chart houses are different.

How Is the Fliyp Score Calculated?

The Fliyp Score is the weighted output of six signal dimensions:

1. Career Signal (0–100)

Measures how activated your 10th house (career sector) is today. Factors: position of your 10th lord, planets transiting your 10th house, Sun's strength (natural career karaka), Saturn's position, and your dasha planet's relationship to career indicators.

2. Decision Signal (0–100)

Measures the quality of mental clarity available today. Factors: Mercury's transit position and retrograde status, today's Moon nakshatra (which determines mental sharpness in Vedic astrology), Moon's phase, and whether Mercury is combust or in an enemy sign.

3. Relationship Signal (0–100)

Measures how supportive today's conditions are for connection and partnership. Factors: Venus's transit position, 7th house lord strength, Moon's emotional quality, and whether Mars is creating friction or Jupiter warmth in your relationship sectors.

4. Emotional Signal (0–100)

Driven primarily by the Moon, which moves through a new nakshatra approximately every 24 hours. Each of the 27 nakshatras carries a specific emotional quality. The Moon's sign, nakshatra, and house position in your chart determine your emotional weather today.

5. Energy Signal (0–100)

Measures physical vitality and drive. Factors: Mars's current sign and position relative to your chart, Sun's transit strength, and whether Saturn is dampening or Jupiter steadying your energy indicators.

6. Spiritual Signal (0–100)

The most unique dimension. Measures how receptive today is to insight and intuition. Factors: Jupiter's transit through your 9th or 5th house, Ketu's influence, today's Moon nakshatra's sacred quality, and your dasha planet's spiritual alignment.

The Weighting

The six signals are not weighted equally. The weights shift based on your current Mahadasha period. Running Mercury Mahadasha? Decision and communication signals carry more weight. Running Saturn Mahadasha? Career and discipline signals are amplified.

This means the Fliyp Score adapts to where you are in your personal life arc — not just today's planetary positions.

What Does Each Score Range Mean?

| Score | What It Means | How to Act | |-------|--------------|------------| | 80–100 | Strong planetary alignment across most dimensions | Initiate, decide, reach out, launch | | 65–79 | Good overall conditions with minor friction | Act selectively; check which signals are high | | 50–64 | Mixed — some areas open, some blocked | Use the dimension breakdown to find your best channels | | 35–49 | More friction than usual | Prepare and plan; save bold moves for better windows | | 0–34 | Low alignment — significant friction in key areas | Reflect, rest, gather information; avoid irreversible decisions |

What the Fliyp Score Is Not

The Fliyp Score is not a prediction. A score of 90 does not mean good outcomes are guaranteed. It means the planetary conditions are unusually supportive — and your effort applied today is more likely to land than on an average day.

A low score is not a warning to stay in bed. It is calibration. On a 35-day, you route toward the signal dimensions that are open (perhaps spiritual or emotional) rather than forcing through the ones that are blocked (perhaps career or decision).

How the Fliyp Score Differs from Every Other Astrology App

Most astrology apps personalise to your sun sign, moon sign, or at most your "big three." That is three variables out of a system that includes 9 planets × 12 houses × 27 nakshatras × Vimshottari Dasha periods × planetary dignity calculations.

Fliyp uses the full methodology:

  • Ascendant-based house system — your 10th house is specific to your rising sign, not your sun sign
  • Vimshottari Dasha — your current life period determines which planet's transits matter most right now
  • 27 nakshatra system — the Moon's daily nakshatra position is calculated, not approximated
  • Six-dimension weighting — the score adapts to your dasha period, not a fixed formula
  • Daily recalculation — every morning, not a static weekly reading

Frequently Asked Questions About the Fliyp Score

Q: What information does Fliyp need to calculate my score? Your exact date of birth, time of birth (to the nearest hour is sufficient), and place of birth. These three inputs allow Fliyp to compute your precise ascendant, natal planet positions, and current Mahadasha period.

Q: Does the score change every day? Yes. The score is recalculated every morning based on the current planetary positions. The Moon's nakshatra changes approximately every 24 hours — this alone produces significant daily variation in the emotional and decision signals.

Q: Can two people have the same Fliyp Score on the same day? Technically yes, but extremely rarely. Even two people born on the same date will have different ascendants if born at different times, producing different house placements and therefore different scores.

Q: Is the Fliyp Score based on Western or Vedic astrology? Vedic astrology (Jyotish). Fliyp uses the sidereal zodiac, the 27 nakshatra system, Vimshottari Dasha periods, and the ascendant-based house system — all of which are foundational to classical Indian astrology.

Q: What score is considered "good"? There is no universally "good" score — context matters. A 65 on a career signal specifically might be excellent for a career decision. A 72 overall on a high-stakes launch day is meaningful. The six-dimension breakdown matters as much as the total.
